Get To Know Angel

Angel L. Santiago's leadership story began in high school in 1995 after moving from Puerto Rico to Texas. Raised in a military family, Angel admired and looked up to his grandfather, he participated in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program. While at JROTC, Angel was awarded the Semper Fidelis Award, attended officer school, and graduated as a distinguished cadet. He attended the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University and after experiencing sudden loss and tragedy in a short period of time, he returned home to San Antonio to finish school at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Angel’s life path has changed a few times over the course of his life leading him to pursue his passion for dance, serve on the board of several non-profit organizations, as well as start his own marketing, branding, and graphics design company. Angel began his spiritual journey in 2012 studying meditation and mindfulness practices. It was through these studies that Angel learned how resilient he was and realized that there was power in the lows of life. He found his purpose in life - his calling - to help guide people on how to turn their challenges and obstacles into fuel for transformational growth.

He pursued training and certifications in the Art of Motivational interviewing, Spiritual Psychology, and Leadership. And in 2017 Angel was offered an amazing opportunity, to serve as the Leadership & Mindset Coach of a business consulting company. An experience that for the next 5 years would mold him into becoming the coach and leader he is today.  

Angel is the host of the iEvolve Podcast, a writer and regular contributor to local magazines on topics such as Wellness and Leadership. A meditation teacher, a retreat and workshop facilitator, a 1-1 and group coach, a transformational speaker, and a mentor to other coaches.

Angel believes that as a leader, you must step into responsibility, be accountable for your behavior, and realize that unless you are succeeding at leading yourself, it’s going to be very difficult for you to lead others. 

Challenges are your comrades, and as you walk through them, you need a trustworthy partner who cares about your success and growth. Because the ultimate goal in life is to be whole and healed. Angel’s mission is to lead you towards a better future, guiding your journeys toward intentional change, connectedness, and confidence.
